Day 1 (2 hours):
- Brief background of UNIX/Linux.
 - How UNIX, Linux, and Windows first appeared.
 - Brief notions on types of software, licenses and organisations.
 - ShareWare, FreeWare, OpenSource.
 - Conhecer a GNU.
 - GPL licensing.
 - The pros and cons of Linux and other operative systems.
 - Queries
 
Day 29 (2 hours):
- Presentation of Linux Magic Box (Made in Portugal)
 - Presentation of various graphic interfaces (GUI) in Linux.
 - KDE, Gnome, Unity, LXDE, XFCE, CDE.
 - Presentation of some alternative software for Linux.
 - OpenOffice, LibreOffice, Gimp, Inkscape and others that may interest participants.
 - Installing Linux Magic Box.
 - Software management in a graphic environment and command line.
 - Introduction to the command line and useful tools.
 - Queries
 
Target audience:
Training will be from 7 pm to 9 pm at Prime IT, starting on 27 April and ending on 29 April (Mondays and Wednesdays).
